Refunds: who to actually contact

Signal Desk does not sell SodaPeak, does not ship it, does not process payments for it, and cannot issue a refund for it. We are a publication. Any refund has to come from the company that charged you.

Why that sentence matters more here

Normally "contact the seller" is trivial advice. With SodaPeak it isn't, because independent researchers documented that purchase links on at least one promotional page redirected into checkout funnels for different brands and alternate billing networks. That means the company on your card statement may not be the brand on the bottle.

So the first step for a refund is identification: look at your bank or card statement and find the exact merchant name that took the payment. That is who you contact, regardless of what the sales page said.

Practical steps

  1. Find the merchant name on your statement and note the transaction date.
  2. Locate your order confirmation email — it usually carries the real support address.
  3. Contact that merchant in writing and keep a copy of everything you send.
  4. If you get no response within a reasonable window, contact your card issuer about a dispute.
  5. If you believe a transaction was misrepresented, you can file a report with the US Federal Trade Commission at reportfraud.ftc.gov.

About the advertised guarantee

SodaPeak's marketing displays a money-back guarantee badge. We have not been able to confirm the exact terms — length, conditions, process — from a source we can rely on, and given the checkout findings above we would not want you to assume standard terms apply. Get the guarantee terms in writing from whoever actually processes your order, before you order.
