Privacy policy

Short version: we collect as little as we can get away with, we do not sell anything about you, and we never publish an email address.

What we collect

• Reader submissions. If you fill in the account form on the audit page, we receive the display name, email, rating and text you type. The email is used only to contact you about your submission and is never published or shared.
• Email correspondence. If you write to us, we keep the thread so we can follow up on corrections.
• Standard server logs. Our host records ordinary request data (IP address, browser type, page requested) for security and diagnostics.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
• We do not publish submitted email addresses, ever.
• We do not run behavioural advertising networks on this site.

Affiliate links and third parties

Outbound purchase links are affiliate links. When you follow one, the destination site and its network may set their own cookies and apply their own privacy policy, which we do not control and cannot speak for. Worth noting in this specific case: the audit documents that SodaPeak links have sometimes redirected to other brands, meaning the third party receiving your data may not be the one you expected. Read the privacy policy of whichever site you actually land on.
